This variety yields dalk purple heads that are crisp, crunchy and sweet. Easy to grow and delicious to eat, its a tasty addition to soups, salads and slaws. For balcony gardens plant in a pot 45cm in depth and diametre, or larger.

Growing tips:
They like a sunny spot with most soil that has had plenty of well-rotted organic matter added. Keep cabbage plants well watered and ensure that soil never dries out. Dont let it get waterlogged. Cabbages are a magnet for bird, as well as for caterpillar of the small and large white butterfly, which lay eggs on the underside of leaves. These caterpillars can strip the foliage in no time. To prevent such damage, putting netting of fine mesh is ideal.
