Linda says: The water content of tomatoes is around 95%. The other 5% consists of mainly carbohydrates and fiber.

This gorgeous beefsteak variety comes from Parma in the region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It has a rich tomato flavour and is deeply ribbed. For balcony gardens plant in a pot 55cm in depth and diameter, or larger.

Growing tips:
For best results germinate your seeds in seed trays filled with good organic seedling mix. Keep them warm and moist and transplant them in rich organic soil when they are 5-7cm high. Water regularly. This is an indeterminate variety, which can grow to about 1.2m tall and will require stalking.

HARVEST: 16-20 weeks
