PLANTING GUIDE:
Lettuce is one of the easiest vegetables to grown from a seed. A miniature quick-maturing romaine (cos) lettuce variety. The heads are compact so you can plant Little Gem seeds closer together for larger yield than other varieties. For balcony gardens grow 2 plants in a pot 20cm in depth and diameter.

Growing tips:
Sow lettuce seeds in well prepared beds with organic compost and cover lightly. Since the seeds are to small, the clearing of stones and large clods of soil is important. Once the seeds have germinated, thin the seedlings out to 12cm between plants and water regularly. When your little Gem lettuce is ready to harvest, harvest the entire plant.
